Dr. Scott D. Ganz graduated from the UMDNJ - NJ Dental School, now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He then completed a 3-year specialty program in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Ganz is well-published in various scientific and professional journals, has contributed to 14 scientific textbooks, an delivers presentations globally on the Prosthetic and Surgical phases of Implant Dentistry, & 3-D Imaging Technologies. Dr. Ganz is considered one of the world's leading experts in the field of Computer Utilization for Diagnostic, CBCT, Treatment Planning Application Software, and CAD CAM Technology.
Dr. Ganz has been a featured speaker for numerous organizations including AO, AAOMS, AAMP, ICOI, ACP, AAID, EAO, AACD, & ASDA. Dr. Ganz serves as Editor-n-Chief for Cone Beam International Magazine of Cone Beam Dentistry, and the Associate Editor Implant Dentistry and others. Dr. Ganz's book, “An Illustrated Guide to Understanding Dental Implants” available in both English and Spanish, has received wide acclaim as the standard in patient education texts. Dr. Ganz is presently on staff at Hackensack University Medical Center and at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine Deptartment of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Ganz has served as an industry consultant for dental implants, imaging, and the high technology arena for the past 28 years. Dr. Ganz is a Past President of the N.J. Section of the ACP, past President of the Computer Aided Implantology Academy (CAI Academy) and currently the Co-Director of Advanced Implant Education (AIE) - providing hands-on live surgery programs in the US and international venues www.handsonsurgery.org.
