Are you ready to sharpen your skills in GTR and flap surgery to prevent complications and achieve more consistent results?
Join Dr. Ehab Moussa as he addresses the common challenges in guided tissue regeneration (GTR) and flap surgeries, such as flap dehiscence, membrane exposure, and healing complications. This Virtual Clinic offers practical advice on flap design, closure techniques, membrane selection, and managing complications to help clinicians improve predictability and success in regenerative procedures.
Course Objectives
-
Identify key anatomical and surgical challenges when planning and executing flap-based regenerative procedures.
-
Understand the causes and solutions for flap dehiscence, membrane exposure, and gingival recession.
-
Learn proper flap design techniques to ensure tension-free closure and maintain blood supply.
-
Explore material selection for membranes and grafts, including resorbable vs. non-resorbable options.
-
Manage soft tissue complications, including inadequate keratinized tissue or flap necrosis.
- Gain post-operative protocols to support healing and minimize patient discomfort or infection.
- Review case studies to highlight resolution techniques for real-world complications in GTR and flap surgery.

Participants will receive practical guidance on flap design, tension-free closures, membrane selection, and how to manage exposure, contamination, or patient discomfort when complications occur. This course will equip clinicians with the tools to diagnose, prevent, and resolve these issues to achieve more predictable regenerative outcomes.

Dr. Ehab Moussa, DDS, MsD
